Job Purpose
  • Support Head, Digital Transformation in digital strategy, research and technology evaluation.
  • Manages project portfolio across all Digital Transfrmation projects in Sime Darby Property.
  • Understand existing business process and identify area of opportunities to digitalize and transform.
  • Establish a strong working relationship with Application Development Lead, solutions provider, DX analysts and project team members.
  • Work together with business stakeholder to ensure smooth digital transformation across the business and ensures proper adoption and change management.
  • Ensures successful project implementation according to budget, timeline and objectives.
Job Responsibilities

Financial

  • Manages allocated budget and resources across projects
  • Prioritizes resource utilization and ensures optimum resource productivity.
  • Report and resolve projects budget and its related challenges.

 

Operational

  • Manages projects pipeline as finalized together with DX analyst and Heads of DX
  • Execute projects according to project timeline
  • Work closely with the DX Analysts, DX Application Development Lead and stakeholders across all digital transformation initiatives
  • Execute digital transformation blueprint and updates digital adoption journey.
  • Projects risk management.
  • Project reporting and updates to relevant stakeholders. Ensures that projects gaps and challenges are properly highlighted and resolved.
  • Project documentation and signoff according to DX and SDP business processes.
  • Knowledge transfer and post-implementation tracking.
Job Responsibilities (Con't)

Quality Assurance (QA)

  • Ensures solution delivery as per solution design and DX guidelines
  • Ensure solution and component long term reusability
  • Ensures users adoption and objective delivery.

 

Customer

  • Provide project management support including timeline, budget, resource, change request, testing, QA, rollout and updates.
  • Liaise with peers within the department to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Attending training for self-development in project management, leadership competencies, etc
  • Attending mandatory training to maintain registration to acquired competencies
  • Promote the value and potential of the DX unit through effective networking at relevant seminars, conferences and social media platforms as permitted by the Digital Transformation Lead/s
  • Contributing to communication efforts in advocating and celebrating digital adoption success/benefits: both internally and externally

Job Knowledge

Education/Professional Qualification

Degree in Engineering, Business Optimization, or any degree or related to project management, problem solving and optimization

Professional Experience
  • Minimum six (6) years’ experience in project management, business development, or operational excellence role
  • Experience in problem solving, project documentation, gaps analysis, resource optimization, and programme rollout.
  • Experienced and exposed to development framework, fundamentals of technology and digitalization.
  • Strong stakeholder management (internal and external)
  • Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Data analysis, visualization and insights exploration.
  • Prior experience in managing people, conflicts and fast changing environments.
  • Prior experience in change management and technology adoption
