Job Description

• Develop and monitor the business strategy, development strategy and execution plan for SEZ development.
• To analyse and assess opportunities for:

1. Investments

2. Divestment

3. Joint-Venture

4. Others proposal

• Develop feasibility study, sensitivity analysis and scenario planning options for SEZ development.

• To identify the existing incentives that currently offered and develop a framework on the required incentives for SEZ.

• Conducting macro & micro analysis and highlighting SEZ key transaction risks.

• To manage SEZ assessment on Economic Impact of tax incentives and identify all active incentives currently offered.

• Submission for approval to MOF, EPU, MIDA and relevant Government Agencies on tax incentives (fiscal and non-fiscal incentives).

• To ensure that proposals adhere to SEZ development blueprint.

• To conduct market and economic study to validate the conceptual plan.

• To manage the transaction to optimize financial returns and minimize tax impact.

• To prepare budget plan for SEZ development.

• To work closely with Townships on feasibility study and business plan.
