Job Purpose
- Provide the support to the management and township heads in analyzing township financial results to enable the management and township heads to make accurate and informed business decisions
- To ensure company accounts are kept in an accurate manner and comply with the accounting standards and to provide accurate financial data for business decisions
- Handling the taxation, budgeting and other financial matters of property development companies in charged
Job Responsibilities
Business and financial
- Provide township analysis of results to the management
- Prepare monthly forecasts, annual budget, common cost allocation and monitors actual performance against budget
- Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial report (Property Development)
Financial
- Attend to financial queries from Project Operations, Strategy and other departments for township in charge
- Ensure monthly closing of accounts are done in accurately and submitted to consolidation team on timely manner
- Monthly review of financial statements and highlight any potential problems to the management
- Monitor monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts, bank reconciliations, including timely clearance of reconciling items and general accounting processes
- Prepare/review of statutory accounts for accuracy and completeness and attend to statutory audit issues
- Liaise with external auditors and tax agent
- Review of cash flow projection / feasibility study from operation team for new project
Job Responsibilities (Con't)
Business
- Provide financial information to Marketing department for pricing proposal purposes and other operational decision making
- Ad-hoc financial reports and analysis required by management
- Assess system adequacy, identify process improvement to the overall accounting system and ensure sound internal control system
Taxation
- Prepare/review and ensure timely submission of annual tax computation and tax returns, tax estimation, GST and other tax matters

- Produce quality and accurate management financial report within stipulated timeline
- Provide full cooperation and swift response to internal and external parties
- Accountable for companies and townships within Property Development Malaysia
Education/Professional Qualification
Degree in Accounting or equivalent
Professional Experience
Partial completion of ACCA /CIMA / CPA / MICPA / etc
